Our Story
When my son was diagnosed with T1D in 2018, he struggled with being embarrassed about wearing devices where others could see them. He also had to adjust to playing, swimming, etc. with the devices on and many times they were accidentally knocked off. Looking to help with these issues, I decided to create some diabetic friendly items that would make CGMs and insulin pumps look less like medical devices and more colorful and fun, as well as protect them. I have several 3D printers that I use for teaching STEM classes and camps and thus, my journey into arm band covers began. The flexibility of 3D printing allows me develop and make custom products on a small scale within a few hours of ordering. I am always grateful to get feedback from customers letting me know how happy they are to have these products available to them and to hopefully alleviate some of the burden of diabetes.
