What makes the premium Libre patch different?
No Lifting: This patch was made with a strong durable adhesive to prevent lifting. This patch is intended to be worn for the length of the sensor.
Opaque: The Premium Patch is made from a thick highly breathable fabric. Unlike other major brands, once the patch is applied, you can not see through it at all. Because this patch is opaque, the images on the patch remain bright and crisp.
Flexible: The Premium Patch has 8-way stretch and high elasticity allowing it to move with the skin.
Woven Interlocking Fabric: The Premium Patches use an interlocking woven fabric that never frays. Other patches use either a non-woven fabric or a woven fabric that unravels. Non-woven fabric traps sweat under the patch which can cause skin irritation or premature lifting of the patch. Traditional woven patches provided more comfort, but quickly unravel. The premium patch uses the highly breathable woven fabric that wont fray or trap moisture.
Works in Harsh Climates: This patch was designed to preform well in harsh climates. From high humidity to below freezing, this patch will stick.
Hypoallergenic: Medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive. This 100% acrylic adhesive is free from all major allergens, including latex.
Sectioned Backing: The back of the patch is split into sections. Easily apply the patch by removing each section one at a time.
CPSC Tested Ink: I invested several thousand dollars into testing the ink I use on these patches to make sure they are free of harmful substances, such as lead. All products I sell exceed safety standards.
